Planning submitted for Bakers Corner...

This week we submitted to Wiltshire County Council a planning application for a large extension to Hannah and Hugh's family cottage at Bakers Corner near Neston. We worked closely with Hannah and Hugh to understand their requirements and also the wider context for the project and we are chuffed to bits with the result.

Nestled within a conservation area we have proposed an unashamedly modern addition to their cottage, removing previous 20th century additions along the way. The materiality is firmly grounded in tradition with extensive use of stone and timber which will allow the building to age gracefully and settle into the surrounding area of Bakers Corner.

We are looking forward to taking it on to site (subject to nice people at Wiltshire Planning Department) later in the year.

Extension to 70's house in Bradford on Avon

We have just submitted a planning application for a modern, light filled, two storey side extension to a 70's house in Bradford-on-Avon for Gethin, Lizzy and family. The final design will make a great family home with space for the children to bounce around in and even a space for Gethin to lock himself away with his guitars! We are looking forward to taking it from the drawing board to on site later in the year.
